LYNX-DEV Supression of messages in Lynx

HI all-

Simple one here (i think). ANyone know how I can suppress the "GETTING
FILE" message which displays while a file is being fetched? We use Lynx
locally only and it's an annoying flash, not to mention it lets users
know where all files are stored.
