I suspect Jim is on VMS (at least, he used to be :) and the SSL
daemon has not been ported to VMS. It uses forking, which could be
emulated on VMS, but it would be better, and not terribly difficult,
to use native VMS procedures for a detached daemon with equivalent
functionality.
