There is an awk script to preformat tables. You have to install it and
configure lynx to use a proxy (which is provided with the script)
which does the table formatting before the data get into lynx.
You find it somewhere in the online lynx pages on
http://www.crl.com/~subir/lynx/patches.html
If You don't know what a proxy is and how to install one, forget the
thing.
