123p is the code-name for a feature added to the development version
originally by Laura Eaves to allow movement to a numbered link on-screen
without actually selecting that link.
the buffer recall is a feature added to 2-6 or 2-7 by Fote (i believe)
which allows recall of previous entries to the command line
when using g & other commands: use up/down arrows to recover entries.
