Lynx 2-4 came out somewhere between the Garden of Eden & the Flood:
there are many things on today's WWW it probably can't handle.

goto  lynx.browser.org/  to get the latest 2-7-1 & full information
( 2-8 is under final development by the international volunteer collective,
but no release date yet).  come back here if you have any problems.
