To get lynx to use, for example, xpdf to view PDF files, I didn't have to
change
lynx.cfg at all. I simply created a mailcap file containing the following line:
application/pdf; mcr decw_com:xpdf %s
(Of course, some of you will recognize this as being for OpenVMS. Unix-based
users would do something similar.)
In addition to lynx now allowing viewing of PDF files, the above mailcap is
also
recognized by Mosaic and Netscape Navigator.
