There's Bobcat, a lynx 2.4.2 clone for <386, see
http://www.fdisk.com/doslynx/. You can also try Arachne
(http://www.naf.cz/arachne/) or Nettamer (there should be a link to it on
the fdisk.com page). These are graphical, but probably rather slow on a
286..
