The proposed INSTALLATION assumes that README.configure and __.win-386
are removed (since they're incorporated) and that other changes are
made to simplify the top directory of the distribution. Please study
and comment on that proposal:

Finally, I think making slightly more brief, consolidating, and moving
to the end of the file the defines for anonymous accounts in userdefs.h
would make the install process just a little easier. The diff -c for
that proposal can be seen at:

And, of course, we want to be sure that all the ports of Lynx actually
do compile before shipping it out the door.
