That's putting it mildly.  I think this would be a *very* bad idea,
unless someone defines a safe PerlScript subset or something.
JavaScript and Java, at least in theory, are severely restricted in
what they can do; Perl has no such limitation.  HTML authors could
perform arbitrary actions on your system.

Now available as part of the _Webmaster in a Nutshell Deluxe Edition_
CD-ROM - the first thing I did here was struggle with the Perl script
from hell that made the book into HTML.  I *think* Jess and I got all
the links working on the CD... (-:  A good reason to get JavaScript
working in Lynx - chapters with many sections get a JavaScript menu
for the table of contents, instead of just a list of links.

The 'l' key in Lynx was invaluable when getting the conversion
working.
