thanks you, for so promptly adding CM's item to the FAQ! and thanks CM!
hex-escaping is mentioned half-a-dozen times in Users Guide & Supported URLs,
with just one example, but nowhere is it explained what `hex-escaping' is.
my way-out answer was partly intended to provoke a response like CM's.
as i've said many times before,
lynx-dev has great programmers -- FM KW LE (wherever she's gone) ET AL -- ,
but its sales & customer service are often sadly wanting,
so i try to do my tiny bit.
my other light entertainment today has been reading Job in Esperanto
