LYNX-DEV HTTPS access

Folks,

Why I can't access https URL address ? Whenever I Go to 
https://host.domain , lynx said the client don't support https
access ability, or sometingh like that ? 

Can anyone tell me why ? or give me a hint where I can find a
lynx client software with https access capability ?
