I was thinking about ../ segments in the extra path information to back up
over the DOCUMENT_ROOT.
I am looking at your diffs now and will put them in the development code
(after correcting some errors, mostly memory leaks). If you have a diff
command available which can create "diff -c" context diff patches, that
format would be much preferred the next time :)
