LYNX-DEV Keyboard mapping question

Hi,

First, I want to say thanks for re-opening the list. My account was
having a problem posting and I guess it was a problem similar to Klaus's.
It took a couple of missing posts for me to figure out they really were
missing and then I didn't know what to do about it. My summer has been
busier than I anticipated, too, so "doing something about it" was never a
priority. Usually keeping up with traffic was enough.

Anyway, the following question came to me from the forms in the FAQ on
SLCC. I get about two of these a week and I can answer almost all of them
easily, so I do. This one is beyond my ken and I'm hoping someone else can
help this person out. I have notified the user that I had received his
message and would be trying to get an answer.

In a previous (attempted, but unposted) message, I asked for feedback on
how to involve (or whether to involve) the list with these messages. My
gut feeling is that the questions would continue to come to me and I would
cc: my answers to the list for archiving and further information from
developers. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks,

Joe

comments:
I wanted my left arrow key to behave as the up arrow.

In my config file I have:

KEYMAP:0x83:PREV_LINK

This works ALMOST like the up arrow now. But when
I am in a text box the left arrow does NOT go to previous
link as does the up arrow.

QUESTION: Is there a way to make the left arrow
behave exactly like the up arrow?
