LYNX-DEV lynx 2.8? 3.0?

Are there any plans to put out a formal release of lynx soon?
I keep telling people about the nifty new features / bug fixes
in the devel / fotemods versions, but no one wants to pick them
up until there is a formal release.
Just wondering.
