I'm not surprised. I haven't used this myself, but have heard that
some blind people using screen reading programs in a DOS box under
Windows 95 have had trouble with the Win32 port. It appears that the
Borland compiler produces console code that accesses the keyboard in a
way that precludes TSR programs like screen readers and KEYB from
interpreting the codes before passing them along to Lynx. I don't
know what can be done about it. Most screen readers can "jump ahead
in line" and reassert control over the keyboard interrupt, but this
usually causes other problems when the program, such as Lynx, needing
this treatment is unloaded.
