Probably everything to do with it.  On solaris2.5 I found using -lbind
rather than -lresolv to be easier.  If you use -lresolv, the easiest
thing to do may be to zap all the header files in /usr/local that
get installed with bind-8.1.  Hope it helps.  Check the May archives
and the bind news group for other discussion.
