For current versions of Lynx (I think I added this feature for
lynx2-7), you can use 'd'ownload instead of ACTIVATE when positioned
on a form's submit button. The form will be submitted, and the reply
will be treaded as a download (i.e., the download menu will be invoked
for selecting what to do with the reply, handled as source, i.e., not
rendered).

If you have already submitted the form and received the reply,
you can access a link to the reply via the History Page and apply the
'd'ownload command for that, but that will invoke a resubmission (if
you confirm at the prompt asking whether to resubmit), because the
reply has already been rendered into a HText structure. You can
use the 'p'rint command in the History Page if what you really want
is a copy of the rendered reply.
