LYNX-DEV Centering <pre> text.

                         Hi!

How can I get Lynx to center <pre> tagged text? Putting it in a table
doesn't work. I want my <pre> section rendered according to the
current environment, perhaps <pre> should be exchanged? I've tried
<code> but that collapses the whitespaces as well.

Anybody got a suggestion?
