LYNX-DEV freeBSD question

I offered to help a local ISP set up the latest version of Lynx, but found
a snag when I tried to fire up emacs. It reported this error:

ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libXaw.so.6.1"

Can anyone tell me where this library should be found on a freeBSD system,
and where I might obtain a copy? They currently have Lynx 2.6FM which 
isn't as bad as many places, but they should have 2.7.1!
