Subject: LYNX-DEV Automatic browsing with lynx
Is it possible to use lynx, as an automatic URL checker?
I found something about "traversal" mode.
My idea: 1. Step: Generating URL list from SQL-Database
2. Step: Checking these list with lynx, once a week
3. Step: Collect Error messages in error-list
I use lynx win32 version on NT 4.0.

1. Do you really need the database? What URLs do you want to check?
If they are the URLs that you cite from your site, traversal will
find them for you.
2. Yes traversal will collect the errors for you.
3. If, on the other hand, you call Lynx once per page from a script,
consider using the -head option to lighten the net load you generate.
