You have invalid syntax in that page.  Spaces are not allowed in NAME
attributes or URLs.  Also the syntax of the BASE tag is wrong.  You need
<BASE HREF=...>.

If you correct those, your problems probably will go away.

Use a validator... lynx_help_main.html has links to two of them.

Also, if you "just put the BASE tag in", your system has a strange idea
about time...  the Lynx INFO page says:

   Last Mod: Thursday, 19-Dec-96 22:39:50 GMT
