If we go a week or two without any more serious bug reports,
I don't see a problem with putting out a "bug fix" release designated
v2.7.1 and containing the 27bugfixes.zip replacement files, with
BUGFIXES converted to additional CHANGES entries. That shouldn't
affect the "merged/all" development code set since Klaus has been
incorporating the bug fixes and giving it a distinct version string.
If, however, it escalated into greater expectations than that...
