I'll also post this on the Japanese browser news group, but for the
lynx-dev record:
There seems to be a problem with the display of the line editor when
entering SJIS Japanese at the `Personal Name:' prompt in a mailto.
Specifically, the individual characters appear to overlap one another,
i.e., one half of a character is superimposed on the last half of the
previous character so only the final character is seen in its entirety.
The same problem exists when filling in the `Subject:'.
However, the message headers received, X-Personal_name: and Subject:,
have the correct Japanese in them, and within the same lynx session,
what is offered at the `Personal Name:' prompt on the second mailing
is correct.
This is confirmed with lynx2-6FM [01-10-97]-slang on sunos4.1.3, gcc.
