LYNX-DEV <IMAGE ... ALIGN= >

Forgive me if this has been discussed before.
Does any version of Lynx support the ALIGN attribute of the
IMG tag?  And if not, will it ever?  And if it will in the
future, then when?
I'm using Lynx/2.6 libwww.FM/2.14
