I just checked out the main Gnu ftp site, and they still have this:

Lynx is a text-based World Wide Web browser for people running
under ``dumb'' character-only terminals.

lynx is available via anonymous FTP from ftp2.cc.ukans.edu [129.237.33.3],
in directory /pub/lynx/lynx<version>/.

I'll be happy to pass the word to them about lynx.browser.org being
up if no one objects.
