LYNX-DEV SOCKS support

We are installing LYNX on an IBM RS/6000 but
have run into problems getting past the firewall.
The problem has been traced to LYNX's support of
SOCKS. If it does support SOCKS, how does one
configure the SOCKS proxy server within LYNX.
