Actually, if you look closely, it's going to www.lynx.browser.org without
the dot. Good enough, but Fote's point is still valid. The dot on the
end tells it to only do expansion on that end and not to worry about the
front. When I was still at Tennessee Tech (www.tntech.edu), I tried 'lynx
tntech' and discovered that there was a www.tntech.com because com is
checked before edu by default. It requires a minimum of .tntech.edu to
get to the right site.
