LYNX-DEV Lynx 2.6 and HTML version

Hello,

I'm new to this list. So, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.

I'm using Lynx 2.3.7 for a while and would like to have a better support of the
HTML language. Is Lynx 2.6 able to fully support BOTH HTML 2 and HTML 3 files
(using a VT220 terminal)?

BTW, how HTML 2 and HTML 3 files are they differentiated? By the extension
(".html" for HTML 2 and ".htm" for HTML 3)?
