Hi..

I have personally done an echo test that takes 6 hrs where data is being exchanged every 100ms and the connection was still fine.
I will run the test most probably again today.
Could you please provide info on which implementation of lwip are u having and info about the drivers and if u r using sockets so that
the devs could help you further.

Since it is time dependent, I think you might have a memory leak and after 3-4 hrs you ran out of memory and
hence the whole thing stopped. But its just an assumption since you didnt provide enough info. Could it be a problem with ur app code or
the other node (the server) ? Did you debug the application and check the content of the pcbs after the problem arises?

Subject: [lwip-users] TCP connections die out after 4 hours.

Hi

I am facing a problem with the lwip stack.
On my target board five active TCP connections are which are sending data to a server like 200 bytes in 400 millisecond also the same data is sent to UDP ports also.
The configuration is working continuously for 3 - 4 hours but after that one by one all TCP connections are die out and the data on UDP port also stops.
the OS I am using is FreeRTOS and processor is ARM9.

Is anybody faced similar situation in past.... or anybody can help in this case.

Please respond...

Regards
Hitesh
