Hi Sathya,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, we are (were) trying to use the sockets mode,
and yes, Xilkernel is settup as the OS. We have done a work-around by
using the non-sockets mode, and got the project moving forward, but we were
hoping for something that would be less of a re-write for sockets-based apps and
utilities.

in MicroBlaze
Jim,
It looks like you are using the sockets mode of support with lwIP stack.
Have you included xilkernel as your preferred OS in the MSS file (Software
settings)? Please check the same.

Hi all,
We are trying to use the lwip stack in a Xilinx
Microblaze system, with the Ethernet (not lite) MAC core and the Xilinx
microkernel. Using a NuHo S3-2000 development board and v7 Xilinx
tools. We've been trying to compile the example program given
with the Xilinx EDK illustrating the lwip, but have found several errors
(which we think we've caught), and are having a further problem: The
sys_init function seems not be available in the libraries. Found some
references that seem to imply that this is supposed to be automatically
generated by the system build, but it never appears.
Has anyone tried to run the Xilinx
example?
Does anyone have any thoughts on the missing
sys_init?
Does anyone have a working sample of the
use of the lwip stack with the Microblaze?
Does anyone have any guidance about the order
of libraries to pass to the linker?
Any and all comments welcome and very much
appreciated.
