[lwip-users] SOCK_RAW?

Hi!
Does anyone know the status of the ability to use SOCK_RAW
in lwip?  I'm using the sockets API and I tried to add the
ping thread (in simhost.c) to my code base just to see if
SOCK_RAW works.  The call to lwip_sendto just hangs.

I want to use SOCK_RAW for something else, but figured I'd
start with ping.  Any ideas?
