Hi,
I was wondering why the netif init callback, called by netif_add,
is returning void. It prevents some friendlier handling than
(e.g.) perror/exit in the init function. Is it planned that, someday,
init could return an error code, and netif_add could then return NULL ?
What would be the odds of a patch for this to be accepted ?
