Follow-up Comment #4, bug #51535 (project lwip):

Perhaps the error is here:

Where a pbuf is inserted before another one, there is no check if there is a
hole between the new one and the previous one. There should be a check similar
to line 425 where the new pbuf is inserted to the end. The code at line 448
then only checks there are no holes after the new pbuf.
