That's the problem. People don't seem to think these things are 
supported and so they don't use it (or don't even know it).

Nothing to be ashamed of :-) - you've done a lot for lwIP since 1.4.x 
already! Hopefully I'll issue a beta for 1.5.0 in the next days or 
weeks, there aren't too many open issues that couldn't wait for 1.5.1+ I 
think.
