[lwip-devel] [bug #41700] Call to tcp_listen_dual() should not accept IP

From: Simon Goldschmidt
Subject: [lwip-devel] [bug #41700] Call to tcp_listen_dual() should not accept IPv4 listen PCB args

User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/40.0.2214.115 Safari/537.36

Update of bug #41700 (project lwip):

                Category:                     TCP => IPv6
                  Status: Works For Me => Postponed
             Assigned to:                    None => goldsimon

Follow-up Comment #3:

Partly fixed by checking that the port is available, but only if the PCB is
bound before calling listen().

Cehcking this I found that this currently cannot be fully fixed as tcp_bind()
(and tcp_connect()) take 'ip_addr_t' arguments (and we have to fix
'ipX_addr_t' first to include an 'isv6' flag.

-> This is an IPv6 issue.
