Although I don't use PPP in our products, I can only agree! Also, I'm very happy to have other active developers around me here :-)

I will try to work through the IPv6 bug list to enable a release soon.

As you might have noticed, I'm working my way through the rest of the entries (i.e. non-IPv6). If there's anything I can help out on the IPv6 part, let me know. Although, I don't have as much time for lwIP as I would like...

Also I'll try to include a basic 6LowPAN support, since that is
something lots of people seem to be interested in.

That's great! I must admit I still haven't fully figured out where this is actually used, but from reading about it, lwIP sounds like the perfect stack for this! :-)

Well, there is maybe one API change needed around the IP addresses (adding an address scope to IPv6 addresses and adding a version specifier to the combined ipX_addr_t), but other than that, I wouldn't mind fixing the IPv6-related bugs in 1.5.1 only.
