By the way, why do you need PPP Server support ? This seem rather an uncommon thing for an embedded devices to act as a PPP server, maybe for remote dialup management (but why over IP?) ?
Very good question, one that I am currently asking our own market. It only came up because our current IP stack supports it and therefore we supported it in our data loggers, but frankly I am not aware of any of our customers ever using it. The only use I know of is for our internal test suite where we have a client and server PPP connected. So certainly this is not a must. I'll let you know of any feed back I get from here on this.
