Follow-up Comment #1, bug #37184 (project lwip): I think technically 0 is the right answer for "how much data can we send" in this case, but I'll need to look at the code to see how that mss_local value is being used and work out the best way to improve it. 0 is not the right value for the MSS. The workaround of not sending until connected should give you something that works but is not a long term solution. I.e.
