Follow-up Comment #15, bug #26309 (project lwip):

The best seems to get some opt.h options:

LWIP_SO_BROADCAST for the send operations, and LWIP_SO_BROADCAST_RECV for the
recv operations. Both disabled as default values to get a source code
compatibility with current behavior.

Like this, each one could choose. About binding on only one interface, I
share Simon's point of view.
