If I understand well, it is actually changed from
p = pbuf_alloc(PBUF_LINK, sizeof(struct etharp_hdr), PBUF_RAM);
to
p = pbuf_alloc(PBUF_RAW, sizeof(struct etharp_hdr), PBUF_RAM);
