Follow-up Comment #1, bug #26121 (project lwip): A better way (and more lwip-like) would be to change #ifdef ERRNO #define set_errno(err) errno = (err) #else #define set_errno(err) #endif to #ifdef ERRNO #ifndef set_errno #define set_errno(err) errno = (err) #endif #else #define set_errno(err) #endif That way you could define set_errno to whatever you like.
