Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25467 (project lwip):
I've created a patch which should decrease accepts_pending in tcp_pcb_purge
for the corresponding listen pcb. However, I'm absolutely not in the position
to test it (my netif doesn't setup work...)!
Piero, if you like you can test if this solves your problem.
