Follow-up Comment #28, bug #3031 (project lwip):
As nice as this idea is, it's a little off-topic in this thread: The original
idea of this 'bug' has already been implemented: PBUF_RAM using pools. This
can be achieved by the new memp_std.h file.
Apart from this, a new task to optimize memory usage might be worth it. The
idea of a netif_dhcp seems quite interesting. SNMP is another candidate for
optimization, I think.
