Follow-up Comment #11, task #7490 (project lwip):

I think it's simpler just to say it never blocks. What Jared said in comment
#7 makes the most sense to me.

Whether there is a size advised on creation or not is a separate issue,
although I think it would be good (as long as it is not a mandatory size -
some OS mailboxes are not configurable).

Whether for 1.3 or not, I have no strong opinion, except that I know we're
already suggesting changes for after 1.3 that will break ports. So I think if
we ever want 1.3 to get out, we may just have to accept that 1.4 will break
ports again.
