Follow-up Comment #19, bug #20900 (project lwip):

I don't think there is any risks here, since this is always the application
which change "pcb.udp" (it is not set to NULL like "pcb.tcp" on a err_tcp).
But since Simon and you prefer the second solution, ok, I will check in this
evening.
