Follow-up Comment #6:

Finally, in my environment, "down" the stack is the same than "down" the
network interfaces. So, I can call netifapi to remove them: no change is
necessary.

About the memory leaks, NXP tools are not really great for that, so, I close
this item (if someone else think it can be really useful, we could reopen
later...).
