[Ltib] Error: while building ltib (rpm: please use alien to install rpm packages on Debian, if you are really sure use --force-debian switch)

Hai greeting for the day,

             Im using LTIB (ltib-mpc8360-com-express-20080709) for MPC8360E board with Ubuntu 10.04 OS,

             i got error1--> rpm-build not installed, but i installed every thing,
             i checked with command "whereis rpmbuild" i get rpmbuild: /usr/bin/rpmbuild /usr/share/man/man8/rpmbuild.8.gz
             by surfing through google i found that i need to comment that RPM-BUILD in ltib....
             
             then i am facing another error like:"rpm: please use alien to install rpm packages on Debian, if you are really sure use --force-debian switch. See README.Debian          for more details.Died at ./ltib line 1993, <CMD> line 333." 
           
             i installed alien also... i attached my host_config.log1 file with the above link.... kindly helpme...
