Hi,

I have no clue about how to use all that stuff.

I used Lout many years ago, for a while.

Then switched back to LaTeX.

After my last experience of math-typesetting with LaTeX,
I found that it's sometimes too hard to write complex formulas
in limited amount of time, even though (La)TeX allows writing macros.

So, I want to try lout again, thinking that complex stuff can be typeset in
much less time than using LaTeX.
The drawback in typography I want to limit by adapting some microtypographical
enhancements to the way, lout doe sthe typesetting.

Your answer indicates me, that it must be possible and with not too much
effort. But my lout-knowledge is not enhanced enough.

So, I could either stay with the defaults.
(Time is more critical than finest typography. If time plan is missed, the nice typesetting does not help.)
Or I need to read again all the lout documentation.

A way you could help me, would be, to create a working example,
that could be feed into lout.

I could start with questions: Where to place the extend-math-stuff?
Can this be done in files and included?
When to include?
Or can it be done locally in my document?
Do I need to change louts original files?

Well, maybe I can find the answers in the expert's guide.

Should read it completely....

In any case: thanks for the code.
I maybe find a way to use it or learn from it.

At the moment I'm not able to use it.

Ciao,
   Oliver
