@InitialSpace is documented, but I'm not sure whether the width
adjustment option is described.

You use it like other @Initial... options, e.g.:

  @Document
    @InitialFont {Palatino Base 12p}
    @InitialSpace {compress +0.25s}
  //
  @Text @Begin
  ...

Note, however, Jeff's comment on the effect of @InitialSpace:

I wasn't aware of that.
