In looking through the old emails I found this question from Jurgen Havix
that appears to have been overlooked at the time:

The @Place symbol uses - for subtraction, leaving it unavailable for
negation.  But you could write {0 - 25} to get -25, or you could
enclose your number in double quotes "-25" - either should work.
I've tested the second one and mentioned it in the 3.31 User's Guide.
